Soft Alchemy begins here.
I'm Stevie Reneé—a writer, meditation facilitator, embodiment educator, and multidisciplinary creative exploring the relationship between ritual, remembrance, creativity, and well-being.
Through storytelling, guided meditation, handmade adornments, and educational experiences, I create spaces that invite people to cultivate a more intentional relationship with themselves and their lives.
The throughline of my work is an ethos I call Soft Alchemy—a philosophy that emerged from my own lived experiences and the gradual shift from adaptation into alignment. It's the belief that meaningful change happens not through force or reinvention, but through presence, remembrance, and the practice of returning to yourself.

The connecting thread
Whether I'm writing an essay, guiding a meditation, designing a piece of jewelry, or sitting with someone one-to-one, I'm always interested in helping people cultivate a more intentional relationship with themselves.
I create from the belief that small, intentional practices shape the way we move through our lives. Rather than promising quick transformation, my work invites slower, steadier forms of change rooted in remembrance, creativity, and embodied presence.
What shapes my work
Meditation & contemplative practice
Meditation is the foundation of how I relate to myself and the world. It continuously reminds me that clarity often arrives in stillness and that awareness is a practice.
Ayurveda & Vedic philosophy
My studies as a Gaja-certified Ayurvedic health educator, meditation instructor, and well-being coach introduced me to practical ways of living in greater relationship with the body, the seasons, and the rhythms of life. These teachings continue to inform both my creative work and the way I hold space for others.
Storytelling
Long before I led meditation, storytelling was my first contemplative practice. Whether through journalism, essays, podcast conversations, or educational writing, I'm interested in stories that help us understand ourselves—and each other—with greater compassion.
Ancestral remembrance
As a Black queer woman born and raised in the United States, part of my ongoing practice has been reconnecting with ancestral traditions, lineages, and ways of knowing that colonial history attempted to sever. This continues to deepen my understanding of ritual, belonging, community, and care.
